A short residential course
(or series of onsite sessions)
- to establish the linguistic challenges
- to implement solutions and build to further development
followed by ongoing guidance
Two specialists look after your training, a language trainer and a business communication mentor. Together they deliver your course according to your needs, both linguistic and business.
We focus on what you need to support your everyday communication, and on the points of contact in your professional and business life. These may include the language for meetings, accent reduction, clarity and effectiveness, giving presentations, writing reports and emails, and any challenges you face in understanding other speakers.
Much of the training is delivered one-to-one by the specialists who look after your course. Some sessions have more than one mentor present to replicate a business meeting or presentation.

Presentation skills training
Lingua draws on thirty years’ experience of training senior managers from Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.
Your course is prepared and delivered by a team of teachers and business mentors, and above all first-class hosts. The hosts look after you outside the training times (six hours each day) and provide top class hospitality and welcome. As teachers themselves, they support your learning and reinforce the new skills you are learning from your teachers during the day. The training is geared exclusively for individuals. There are no other learners on your course.
The Old Rectory is a charming old English house situated in Gloucestershire fully equipped with internet access in your en-suite study-bedroom. During your stay you can choose from a range of activities and cultural events to complement your daytime training: you can visit the theatre at William Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, or make a trip to London, Oxford, Bristol or Bath, participate in social events or simply explore the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire countryside. And there is time, space and privacy for you to enjoy your downtime - or catch up with those learning projects!
