History of Lingua
Lingua has delivered corporate language training to multinational companies since 1987.
Our business language courses are geared to each individual client, with courses individually prepared for each learner within those companies. Airbus, Matra Marconi, MoD, Orange, Rio Tinto, Total and Warner Bros are among the many organisations who enlist our training support for personnel with international contact.
The company was set up in the English city of Bristol, originally under the name Multilingua. The merger with Lingua in the late 90s extended the training provision across the UK and in Europe.
Our expertise is in delivering bespoke training at the highest standard for managers on tight schedules. We provide a fully managed learning service for HR teams.
Each learner has a unique set of interests and needs. And each company has its own development culture and training procedures. Lingua specialises in tailoring courses to meet the needs of individuals and companies.
In partnership with our clients we create company-specific language materials on- and off-line, as learning supports for both personal training and self-study. |
